Hello there! I'm Ellen, the proud owner and baker behind Jollie Macarons.

At Jollie Macarons, we specialise in creating the finest macarons in the Perth area. While my background lies in chemistry, my true passion has always been baking. Drawing on my meticulous laboratory experience, I've embarked on an extraordinary journey into the world of baking.

It all began in 2013 during my first stay in Perth. Initially, I honed my skills as a self-taught baker, delighting friends and family with my creations. The overwhelmingly positive feedback inspired me to take a leap of faith and establish my own business. Although I initially focused on baking cakes, I soon discovered that my passion extended far beyond that realm.

It was a serendipitous moment when I decided to adorn one of my cakes with French macarons, captivated by their stunning appearance. Motivated by the desire to challenge myself, I embarked on a quest to master the art of macaron baking. Through countless trials and adjustments, I finally perfected my own unique macaron recipe.

The name Jollie Macarons came from the nicknames of the two most precious and important things in my life: my two kids! Jojo, my daughter and Ollie, my son... Jollie was born.  Making macarons brings me such joy, that I couldn't think of a better name for my new brand.

That initial spark, that burning desire to share my love for baking, continues to propel me forward in this venture. Each meticulously crafted macaron flavour and cake is designed to elevate and commemorate the special moments in your life.
